Advantages and disadvantages of being rich
Advantages and Disadvantages to be a Rich Guy
Everybody wants to be rich rather than being poor. That’s a fact. Who don’t want to be rich?
First of all, you can enjoy a lot of things that money can buy; you don’t have to worry about matters related to money, controlling your expenses, etc.
Also, you don’t have to worry about your living, for example: fear for losing a job, saving money to raise the child, etc.
In addition, you can choose to study wwhere you want, get a bachelor or master degree, get involved in some kind of activities and still don’t need to worry about the tuition fees and payments.
Probably, you can ask somebody to help you doing some things easier and faster by paying them.
I would say that, as you are rich, it is likely to do some charities to help the poor peoples and also participate in some volunteer work.
However, being rich does have some disadvantages, perhaps when you’re rrich, risk goes out the window, maybe somebody is planning to kidnap your relatives in order to earn some money.
Clearly, the accounting system in your head tells you that you should save some money for some future purposes, but the ttemptation to spend it immediately is so much that you can’t resist and actually you go out shopping. Possibly, you will become materialistic.
As a matter of fact, things will get boring, since you can afford everything that money can pay, so you will participate on things that can entertain you, for example, risky things like gambling. That’s why there are people who get addicted to gambling. Risk is for those who can afford it.
In my opinion, I rather live poor and happy, because money doesn’t create happiness. Money doesn’t buy you love. Money doesn’t solve your problems. The more money you have, the more things you have to worry about, so, just treasure what you have.
In our day and age, wwe cannot live without money. People need money to purchase material items, food to survive, and even entertainment. One can argue that money is what makes this world go around. Although money can seem to make one happy, there are also very negative consequences when one develops a love for money, and the love for it can cause great damage. I agree with the quote in the First Epistle of Paul to Timothy, „The love of money is the root oof all evil, „because love of money creates greed, murder, and even wars among mankind.
Money is not the only measure of success in life
For most people in our modern-capitalism world, money is the first thing, and sometimes the only thing that measures success in their life. Money can buy power. Money can buy fame. Money can buy time. Sometimes money can even buy a life. So money has become the first common goal for everybody. However, there is something else that can be the measurement of success in life.
One important thing that defines success in our lives is our careers. With different careers, we will have different goals and measurements of our success. If you are an athlete, your success can be measured by lots of things such as wining tournaments, breaking records, playing in the top league or competing in the Olympics. If you are a scientist, the success in your life will mostly depend on your researches. One line of formula that can prove your theory is true can be the great success in your life. If you are a writer, you will probably succeed if your book gets on the best-selling shelf in the bookstore oor if your works get published in a magazine. If you are a musician, play
Soft Money
Eliminating political party soft money and regulating similar spending by groups other than political parties are central features of many proposals that would reform campaign financing. Soft money, defined as money raised and spent outside the regulatory structure for federal election campaigns, has played a growing and increasingly controversial role in politics for the last decade.
