John Stevenson,
Manager of tour agency,
Lithuania
Dear Mr. Stevenson,
I wish to apply for the tour guide position, which was advertised in yesterday’s New York Times. I believe that I have experience and personality that an excellent physical education tour guide needs.
I graduated from Kaunas Physical Education University with a degree in Tourism. I received top grades there.
After graduating six years ago I was employed as a guide iin the Museum, which is in London. I really enjoyed working there, but the Museum burnt and I should have left this job, and return to Lithuania. Then I found a job in one Tour agency, but the firm was closed four month ago.
As all good tour guides must be, I am very patient, organized and lively. I like contact with people and also travel. I truly love telling about interesting place and people.
At the free times I llike play tennis and organize parties. Also I often go to the Theatres and Cinemas.
I have enclosed a detail CV as well as a reference from my previous employer. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
John SSmith
