Marco Polo

Marco Polo (1254-1324), is probably the most famous Westerner traveled on the Silk Road. He was born in Venice on September 15 , 1254. He was a son of rich merchant who traded with the East.

In 1271 Marco polo started a four years journent to Asia and spend seventeen years here. In 1245 Marco Polo arrived in Venice and spent time with family. Later he wroted a bock who called “The Travels of Marco Polo” . HHe died on January 8 , 1324 .

Christopher Columbus

Christopher Columbus was a navigator and explorer credited as the discoverer of the Americas.He was born in Genoa, on May 20 , 1451. He was a son of a weaver. Christopher Columbus made four voyagers to sailed with West , hoping to reached the Japan and reached the Bahamas. Columbus was landed proprietor on Cuba and Haiti. He escaped islands in the Carribean Sea and Central America. He died on MMay 11 , 1506 , Valladolin , Spain.
